Emily Heywood

Hi families! My name is Emily (she/her), and I am so excited to be working with you all this year! I have been working with infants for almost 2 years. I started as an assistant and worked my way up to lead teacher at Heartworks. I am currently enrolled at CCV to continue my education in the field and learn as much as I can to help children and families thrive at our center. Before joining the early childhood education field, I was an LNA and a stay-at-home mom. I have 4 children of my own, a dog, and 3 cats! Outside of work, you can find me at the races, camping, and in the winter at the ice rink.
