Jenna Mazur
Seeker Team
I’m Mrs. Jenna Mazur (she/her) and I am so happy to meet you! I know this is going to be a fabulous year for all of us to grow and learn together!
My family and I live in Charlotte, Vermont. We have two children Eva (15 years old) and Ethan (13 years old). My husband Dwight and I have been
married for 19 years. We have two adorable rescue dogs Gidget and Maui.
Before coming to CCC in May of 2023 I spent the past 7.5 years as a full time Para-Specialist for CVSD and worked with students in K-8th grade.
Prior to that I was a stay-at-home mom while my two children were little and not yet in school.
Before becoming a parent, I worked at HCDS (Howard Center Developmental
Services as an Employment Consultant on the Project Hire Team and Lead
Recruiter for PDI in South Burlington.
I am very excited to share that I have been accepted into the TEACH program
and will be completing my degree in Early Childhood Education. I will begin my coursework towards my degree in either September or January!
I am advanced CPR, First Aid and BLS/AED certified as well as recently
completed my Vermont Orientations training required for all Vermont Early
Educators. A few other recent trainings I completed are Active Play for
Preschoolers with Autism and Advocating for Early Childhood Educators at the state level both through Penn State.
There is nothing greater than making a positive difference in the lives of children.
Preschool is the first step in a child’s educational journey and can instill a lifelong love of learning in a child’s life. As an Early Childhood Educator (in training) I am very passionate about teaching children, meeting each child where they are and helping them grow, building relationships with students, families, care teams, fostering inclusion, and building through play-based activities children’s social and interpersonal skills.
I look forward to working with you and your children!
